Children's Day celebrated in india is 14th november.Everyone is happy on this day. Children – our future voters and leaders – are among our most neglected citizens. Sixty-six years after Independence, the challenges ahead of India's children have changed but hardly diminished. On the one hand, the Right to Education, enacted in 2009, has borne fruit. From 25 million in 2003, the number of out-of-school children dropped to 8.1 million in mid-2009. However, these development indicators are polarized by region. According to a recent study, RTE has failed to lift education in rural areas and teaching quality has declined. Child labor, though prohibited by law, is prevalent. And though infant mortality statistics have shown a turn for the better, access to quality healthcare still remains elusive for most Indians. On the occasion of Children’s Day, we look at the lives of children across India, and bring you some moving images.
According to me , something should be done by government like to organize some event in the cities or something should be done like giving free education to children so that they can also make their future good and be good indians.
This could be done by local governments or state governments.
you all know poverty ratio of india and literacy rate , it is very bad for both, it because of lack of education as if they are not educated and cant get job!
So something should be done to HAVE GOOD FUTURE!
