HUND'S RULE FOR MAXIMUM MULTIPLICITYIt states that "pairing of electrons in the orbitals of same shell or orbitals of equal energy or degenerate orbital will start only when each degenerate orbital will get one electron"
This rule is also applicable to the daily life.
If one electron is going in first orbital then second has to go to 2nd orbital because there must be equal energy.
If we compare it with life then its comes true.
For example one electron is going in 1st orbital and reaction is taking place and then how 2nd electron can go there and check out what is it!
second electron has only to go in 2nd orbital till the electrons are not filled in other orbitals!!
But if 1st electron will not eject from the 1st orbital all 24 hours then how 2nd electron can go to 1st orbital!
Its impossible!
so this rule is true....
AUFBAU RULE
It states that " orbitals are filled in increasing order of their energy i.e orbital with lower energy are filled 1st followed by orbitals with higher energy"
Lets take a example-:
one electron have very much less energy and doing efforts to enter to orbital but the another electron with higher energy doing the same efforts or efforts more than that, then who will enter the orbital here ?
Definitely 1st will enter the orbital no matter what efforts he is doing because he have less energy and 2nd electron can only enter the orbital with higher energy have only to enter 2nd orbital or orbital with higher energy but can never enter 2nd orbital!
Now question comes of the energy.1st orbital is stable and it cooperates with 1st electron and hence 1st electron will have less energy.
But no COOPERATION is there for second electron so it has only to go to anywhere else with its disastrous force~!
ELECTRONS ALWAYS REPEL EACH OTHER
Now as we know the electrons always repel each other and similar is the case with humans.
If two persons repel each other then who will enter the orbital is decided by proton only.
It means all depends on protons on to which electron they attract and hence make COOPERATION with them and thus leaving the second electron as it is with repelled force.
So If we understand chemistry by taking example of daily life then nothing is difficult!
Its so easy!!
